“My wife was so active all throughout her life. She loved to walk and garden. She did most of the home improvement throughout our lives. She was always so strong. When her pain got too bad for her to walk normally, it was such a blow to her, and a shock to me and our children, who were so used to her always running here and there. The hospice staff were so understanding. They understood how important activity was for her. The doctor prescribed some new medicine that helped, and they sent over a physical therapist who taught her how to walk again. Until the day she died, she was on her feet and moving.”
